WHAT AM I DOING?
Have you ever asked this question to yourself? Sometimes we get so fed up with foolishness and corruption in our lives that we will be forced in our own spirit to look in the mirror and ask our self, “What am I doing”. Let’s study! John 15:1-2, “I am the true vine and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it brings forth more fruit”. I find the law here that Jesus was teaching us, and that he would desire that we would follow his examples and apply them into our own life. It is so that people will often find the faults of someone else who may be close to them in life. When things go wrong then you would place the blame on someone else, you would be quick to say to them “what am I going to do with you”. I find the law here that one would need to acknowledge first that he/she is the true vine and that God is the farmer, and it is only God who will give the increase to this seed, (see 1 Corinthians 3:6).
One must first acknowledge himself as the true vine of his own life and know that people placed in your life are branches. The branch brings forth the fruit from the nourishment that it has received from you, the true vine, and only if you are a branch of Jesus can you be a true vine of others in your life. Once you acknowledge that you are the true vine, and then would be the need to acknowledge the branches in your life that does bring forth fruit that are ripe and those that are not ripe, but rotten. If one goes to the grocery store and purchase a bag of rotten apples, take them home and eat them, the rotten apples will be the sickness of him. Why then would it be well that you place the blame for your own sickness of desiring rotten apples, under the blame of the rotten apples. If you would have not desired the rotten apples you would not be sick. I find the law that those people in your life that are the branches which bear rotten or no fruit must not be in your own desires, and you must allow God to husband you as the vine by cutting of those that bear no fruit, ( see Luke 13:9). God does not desire that you would carry a no fruitful branch in your life, it is that God would have you as a fruitful tree.
Psalm 1: 1-3, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper". ”When there is a lack of prosperity, then there is the wonder of“ WHAT AM I DOING”. I find the law here that when you allow unfruitful people to be close to you as a branch is to the vine, then one would more so blame the branch instead of blaming himself for not cutting the branch and continuing to nourish an unfruitful branch, (see also 2 Corinthians 6:14)
John 15:4, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me”. There may well be a person whom God has placed into your life that does truly desire to be a fruitful branch, and would need the nourishment from you as the true vine of them by your remaining to be the branch of the true vine, Jesus Christ. It is here that we must go into prayer about people who have been placed into our life, that we may know the will of God. Many will blame people instead of bless people because they know not that God has sent them to be blessed. I find the law that some people are branched into your life to bless you with the fruit of love, and some are that you would bless them with the fruit of love, and then there would be those that are unfruitful ones that God will take away from your life. Many people will attempt to return or embrace once again what God has taken and pretend that they are getting back what the devil has taking. I find the law that you would not be getting back what the devil has taken but only you would be embracing what the devil has given when you return to what God has taken away from you, and that it would be much worst in the end (see 2 Peter 2:22).
John 15: 5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”. I find the law here that if you do not go to the store and get those rotten apples then those rotten apples cannot do anything to you. There is no need now that we will blame the branches that we feed but that we reframe from feeding the unfruitful branches which are those that abide not in you while you abide in Christ, Glory be to God!
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”.
BE SURE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
CAN YOU SEE A FOOL?
In this study I find the need that a strong focus would be placed on the spiritual definition of the word “fool”. I have often heard people speak of others playing them for a fool, calling them a fool, or trying to make a fool out of them. The truth is that no one wants to be a fool or to be thought of as a fool, and I find the law that if we can spiritually define a fool by God’s understanding, then we could begin the process of elimination of the fool. The primary focus here then, would be that we can get rid of the fool.
The beginning of understanding rest in God, and God is the word; therefore in order to begin this study, we would need to acknowledge the need to seek God’s understanding of who is a fool.
John 4:24tells us that “God is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”. Some people may seem to think that worship is only done on Sunday in a place that we call church, but I find the law that Jesus built his church into the heart and mind of those to believe that Jesus is the Son of God just as Peter did, (see Matthew 16:16-18), and understand that this belief would need to be as solid as a rock which is unbreakable by the natural flesh hands of any man. Therefore we must learn to worship in our everyday lives and to acknowledge our true worship of God in all that we do (see Proverbs 3:6) In the above scripture, Jesus teaches us that we can forget about man’s definitions and man’s carnal way of understanding. Please stay with me in this study as we will cover a lot of text in our mission to rid ourselves of the fool. In order that one would be able to get rid of a thing, one must know first what the thing is, and how this thing was founded, or shall I plainly say where did the thing come from? A prime example is that when one goes to the doctor because there is pain, the doctor defines the pain and gives it a name such as cancer, and then the doctor will be able to proceed in the process to even give the cancer a name by learning the sick person’s activities. The doctor will also be able to form a better understanding of how the cancer begin by learning more about the sick one’s activities. I would that we now begin to treat the fool as cancer and ourselves as the doctor for the healing of our own spiritual sickness.
Proverbs 19:8“He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good”. We can link God to this text by understanding thatGod is love, (see 1John 4:8), and in order to have wisdom there must first be God, which is love, for our own selves. If a person does not love their self then there would be a lack of medication needed in order to cure the sickness of foolishness, with the medication being wisdom. I find the law here that one must first be wise enough to love one’s self in order that one would not be a fool. Sometimes in our lives we are crippled along the way, and diverted from the path of wisdom and understanding by other people’s foolishness. One example would be a child that has been mistreated or abused by his or her parents and brought up in the home of a lot of foolishness. The second portion of the above text tells us that we must understand if we desire to find good. There is only one good and this is God(see Matthew 19:16-17). I find the law that once we get the wisdom of God by loving our selves, unless we keep this understanding we will still be without anything good in our spirit as we keep in mind that God is Spirit. The best way to explain this would be in Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. This text is talking about our battle with the enemies of God, the enemy of his wisdom, the enemy of God’s understanding, and in this study the fool would then be one of the enemies. I find the law that we must not fail to acknowledge that this passage says that those enemies are more than just one, they are “rulers”. Therefore there would be more than just one enemy. However many people walk around calling a person the devil as if there is one person who is one devil, and the same applies for the word “fool”, because people will be quick to say “look at that fool over there”, or “he is a fool”. The fact that the text says that “we wrestle”, clearly shows us that we all battle our own foolish ways in life, there is even a song titled “everybody plays the fool sometimes”, and I find the truth here. Would then it be well that a fool call someone else a fool, God forbid. The text also states that our battle is not with flesh and blood. I find the law here that the fool would then be only one of the rulers of darkness in the text, because it’s not me and it’s not you for we are flesh and blood. Would it be well that we fight against ourselves? God forbid! Thenwhat exactly do we fight against? The text says that one thing is principalities, which is none less of our own principles in life. So often people will take a thing that someone has approved to be right for themselves, and attempt to make it be so wrong and the reason a person would go to hell. A good example of this would be a preacher, who tells his congregation that they would go to hell for drinking wine, on the first Sunday at service, and then turn around and preach about Jesus turning water in to wine as a sign that Jesus was God, on the second Sunday! There is no misunderstanding about Jesus being God, because we know that Jesus is Lord of Lords. Then there would be those who preach in the order that we are not allowed to be in the presence of wine drinkers, on the third Sunday, but on the fourth Sunday the word would be that Jesus sat with the sinners and wine drinkers, without speaking at the time of allowing the mind of Jesus Christ to be in you, if you wanna be like Jesus (see Philippians 2:5-6). I find the law then that the question would be is this preacher a wise man with understanding or a man who carries his own sickness of foolishness with principalities? The text above also says that we battle against powers. A good example of this would then be those in political offices attempting to change voting rights which would limit the minorities or the fewer of importance in this world from a high seat’s point of view. However I find the law that the fewer are those chosen by God, (see Deuteronomy 7:6-7), that you will also be able to view those who are sick in foolisness, fighting against the powers of God. The text also speaks about the rulers of darkness of this world. These would be those that strive not to produce light of prosperity into your life spiritually, and emotionally. Some people are in a position to help others along the way but will refuse to do so simply as a form of mockery which is vanity. A great story based example here would be of a man who was in love with a blind woman, and desired to marry her. However even though the blind woman loved the man also and could feel the true love of this man for her, she refused to marry him because she could not see him. Therefore the lady was allowing the rulers of darkness, the fact that she could not see hinder her from helping the man to have a happy life with her by marrying him. One day the doctor calls the woman and gives her two eyes which were donated to her from someone who wanted her to be able to see, and have light in her life. Once the woman was able to see, she looked at the man who desired to marry her and noticed that his eyes were shut close, and that he could not see. Then the woman refused to marry the man because he could not see, she refused a man that she had loved all the while she could not see him, and refused to be the light for the man who had loved her so much that he had donated his own eyes to her so that she could see him. I find the law that the darkness would be the reason she walked away from love, which is God, and the light which is God (see I John 1:5) The final section of the text speaks of spiritual wickedness in high places, and I do find the law that wicked and evil would then also be the ways of foolishness. This form of foolishness is often founded from the roots, and found where we find those who have no respect to God’s law in (Galatians 5:14).Spirits of selfishness that dwells in people and hinders them from desiring the same for their neighbors as they so desire from themselves is present in this world. There for we can see selfishness as being confirmation of a place where the sickness of foolishness is present. If a person is selfess, then they are sick with foolishness.
Now we are able to view the above text as spiritual and not flesh and blood. Though a person abides by the spirit of the enemy merely means that the enemy is present with them and not that they themselves are fools, or devils but that a foolish or demonic spirit has rule in their life.
Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” Some people may say “Lord Help me” but yet refuse to have a person who loves them to teach, guide, and help them. I find the law here that a college education is vanity without the understanding that GOD IS LOVE, HE'S NOT A FOOL! Anyone who refuse to help someone who they love and are able to help without doing harm to their own selves, are sick with foolishness, and a person refusing to allow someone who they love and trust to help them in an area where they are weak and need help, are sick people with foolishness also. I find the law then that the fool is not a person; it is a spiritual sickness, and that only a fool can be a fool!
LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND TELL YOURSELF “I AM NOT A FOOL”!
This study was drafted by REV Kelvin L Mathews of Young World Ministry. This study will be continued with more in-depth levels of understanding on how to get rid of the fool!
James 2: 17, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” This verse shows me that my faith has to produce some work, which can be seen by others in order for the faith that I have to be not dead. When something is dead it really doesn’t mean anything anymore, so if faith is dead there really is no faith. A lot of people think that if they go to church on Sunday, and say Amen, then that’s all they need to do. The truth is that church should enhance our faith so that we can do the work of God for another week. It’s like a car, once it is filled with gas, and then it is ready to travel again until the gas gets low. The gas gets low because the car has done the work to burn the gas, the gas will never get low unless the car does the work that it takes to burn the gas. Once the gas is low, it is time for it to be refilled.
Faith works in the same manner, when we leave the church filled with faith, we need to use this faith to do the work of God throughout the week, and then return back to the faith pump, the church, to be refilled. There are also those that will not even go to the faith pump. Instead of going to church, they talk about the church and name so many reasons for not attending church. However, they do not sit at home and talk about the gas pump; they go to the gas pump and pump some gas that they cannot see.
Hebrews 11: 1, “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We also live this scripture every day of our life, when we get up early in the morning for five days a week and get a check that we haven’t seen yet, and will not see until Friday. Whatever made us go to work for five days; we hoped to get a check on Friday, is our faith for the pay check. However it is so hard to get some people to hold this type of faith for God. When we go to church it should not be to impress or talk about others. It should be to get the word of God, that spiritual pay check that we cannot see with the eye until Friday, but feel in the heart Monday - Thursday. This faith that we cannot see is what gives us the gas on the inside to go do the work. I find in a lot of cases that those to sit around and say they have faith but do not do the work are the ones that are low on gas. I also find that those that never want to hear, discuss, or learn more about the word of God, has the faith that is dead, and that is no faith at all.
Hebrews 11: 6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him”, no one can please God without faith; neither can we crank a car without gas. God lives inside of us, if we can’t please God, then how can we expect to please ourselves? Everyone wants better for themselves, this is the evidence that God wants us to go up higher, God wants us to go higher because that is where heaven is. It is above the world. The only way that we can get there, is to get more gas. We must get more faith, we must have enough gas to get there! James 2: 19 “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devil also believes, and tremble”. This verse shows me that the devil has a belief, but I know that the devil is in hell. Therefore it is not just enough to believe and think that this will do, but I must have faith that works. Even the faith of a mustard see will grow into the largest tree by the works of the rain and the sun. I must believe to the point that I will do some work, I will go to church, I will go to bible study, I will pray, I will meditate, I will teach someone good by talking about God more, I will learn more from the bible, I will listen to my Pastor.
I want the faith that works, not the faith that is dead, what do you want?
Please don’t run out of gas…….
What about this Tree?
The word "fruit" makes us think of food that we get from a tree. Some people will include the same understanding in their bible study and find themselves lost for Gods understanding. No one wants to eat rotten fruit or even wants to get fruit from a tree that is full of worms.Psalm 1: 1-3, “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners , nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the way law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of the waters, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” This text shows me that a man is like a tree, and that the man is to bear fruit that is good and ripe only if the man is nourished by the waters of the river. John 4: 10, “ Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water". John 4: 14, “But whosoever shall drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up to everlasting life.” In this text we see that Jesus is the water which we as the tree needs to be planted near, and that in order to be planted near this river, it must be inside of us. This is the only way that we can fill the earth with the fruit of the world from God. In the above text we also see that the lady whom Jesus spoke with did not know of the gift from God that was given to us in the beginning. I write this study so that we all may know of the gift! Genesis 1: 27-28, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing on earth.” Here we see that after God created us, we were blessed and then given the order to be fruitful, and multiply. The word “multiply” means to make more of the exact same that we are, to have children. Therefore we see that our children comes from the ability that God gave to us after he blessed us and allowed for us to be fruitful. This means that in the image of God's fruit, this makes our children the fruit of the world. Luke 6: 43-44, “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of bramble bush gather they grapes.” Here Jesus is teaching us that we can tell what types of people we are, what kind of tree we are by the lifestyle of our kids. This may be hard to swallow for some but it is the word . Our words and actions are seeds planted into our kids, our kids learn every thing from what they hear adults say and what they see adults do! The things which our kids see us do and hear us say are the same things that our kids will do and say! Luke 13: 7-9, “ Then said he unto the dresser of the vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it to the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that I shall cut it down.” God has his ministries to teach those that are not as a tree by the river and in this text the word dung is human waiste. People it’s time to get right and bear good fruit, if all of this crap that we are going through does not open our eyes, if it does not fertilize the root, the heart, there will be no reason for God to allow such a tree to take up space on the earth!
What a blessing to be of the tree of life!
Lets Go Get A Rock
In Joshua 24: 1-24, The text clearly speaks of what great things that God has done for Israel. At the time of this text the people were clearly witnesses to God’s great works which he had done to bring his people out of Egypt. Here Joshua would have a word from the Lord to proclaim the importance of obedience to God by those to be brought up out of Egypt. There was a covenant made and a stone used for a witness. I find the law that this would refer to the words of Jesus to Peter in Mathews 16: 18 “And I say also unto thee that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. This text can be compared to Joshua 24: 27, “And Joshua said unto all the people, behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it has heard all the words of the Lord which he space unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God”. In Matthew 16: 16, Peter did not deny the Christ but he acknowledged that Jesus was the Christ. This is exactly the type of belief that we need to teach our kids to have today. In Judges 2: 8 we can see that Joshua died at the age of 110, and in verse 10 we can see that a new generation arose which had not witnessed the miracles which God had done to bring the people out of Egypt, and in verse 11 we can see that the new generation did evil. I find the law that it was because the new generation knew not of how good God had been that they drew nigh into evil ways. They simply had not been taught by the older generation at least in a manner that they would listen to God’s word and obey it. The goodness of the Lord was not planted into the minds of the new generation. Galatians 6: 7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” In this verse the word “soweth” means “plant”. Matthew 12: 30, “He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathered not with me scatteth abroad”. I find the law here that he who would not be planting God’s word into their kids and this new generation would be planting the devil seeds into the mind of the new generations. So many people are smoking the devil's rock because they know not about God's rock. The truth is that many people which proclaim to stand on God’s word and not obey Psalms 78, would be unknowingly planting evil. This is why it is so important to me that I would teach my child of God’s goodness and that I may only abound with the true soulmate of God’s gift which would be the one to be on one accord with me in all things being that I am so sure of God’s word that I would even submit my own child into the care of this person. I find here that anyone not willing to suffer with me and teach of God’s goodness would not be worthly of the glory which God has for me and my child. Therefore it is vital that not only we teach our kids but also that we reframe from those who would even seem to be pretending to stand on God’s word, which is the rock!
Psalm 61: 2 "From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I".
Psalm 27: 5 "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion; in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up on a rock".
Let your kids get on God's Rock,
A message from Young World Ministry
There are many great mothers of children in this world who may need this Word. I find that women are more susceptible to high blood pressure and physical illnesses because of stress. Most of a woman’s stress comes in her child raising years, and we all know that raising a child is no easy thing. I have the law found within my spirit that if we practice the teachings of the scriptures as parents, then can and will we see less stress. Let’s study!
Colossians3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord”. Having the word of Christ to “dwell in you richly” would be as if a rich man with enough money that any financial problem is not a problem, because he has, richly enough money to fix the problem. In other words his money is sufficed for any and all issues of finances. Then I would find the law that when Christ dwells in us richly, only then would we have enough in us that no problem is a problem, no issue is a worry. This shows the importance of studying God’s Word for application in one’s life. Then the text above speaks of “in all wisdom”. When I look at a mother and see her raising her child, I can see the wisdom of God which she has been anointed with by God. She knows how to raise her child, but is she applying God’s wisdom in her motherhood? Many mothers may get so upset when their child spills Kool-Aid on the counter, or leaves a dirty cup on the table, that they will allow their stress level to sky rocket to the moon, instead of just praising God and thanking God for the joy and peace that he has anointed them with along with their mother hood. Know ye not that Christ dwells in you richly? God forbid! We have His word and we have no cloak for not operating in His Word. We must keep in mind that the enemy is a spirit which knows your weakness and he will try to use the actions of those who are dearly loved by you, that he will be able to upset you or make you yell and curse, even at your own kids. In Job 2:9 we can see how the actions of the enemy affect those who love each other. We must keep in mind that when we obey the text above that we are teaching others, even our kids, about the love of Christ that dwells richly within us. Then will our kids see the glory of the Lord magnified, because we show them that we have the Strength of Philippians 4:13, the joy of James 1:2, the love of 1 John 4:8, the faith of James 2:18, the example of John 13:15, and the comfort of Matthew11:29. The above text also speaks to us that one of the ways to accomplish this task is in psalms. This is simply done by praising God and thanking him for those wonderful kids that He has blessed you with, even while you are wiping up that Kool-Aid, or washing the dirty cup that was left on the table. When we utilize this method of psalms, or prayer to the Lord with thanks, then we will find that this will lead us into the hymns, and singing of spiritual songs, which in return brings happiness into our hearts according to God’s grace which has been bestowed up on us. I find the law here that the glory will be to God in our actions that we are happy when the devil wants us to be angry; we are smiling when the enemy wants us to be frowning.
1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” I would have you know that the word “Glory” is used to denote the manifestation of God's presence in the Christian religious tradition. This means that we are to show the goodness of God in our actions and words at all times, even when we feel like fussing at our kids, we only be mindful that the glory of God must guide us. The text above uses the examples of eating or drinking because these are things that we all must do, but will never do at the same time, all the time. I find the law here that this text would cover every second of our lives as well as every issue which we may have to deal with in life.
1 Peter4:11, “If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen”. In this text, the word “oracles”, simply means our speeches, or any words that we may have to say. It would then matter not of the issue or issues at hand, but only that we speak as if God was doing the talking. Years ago people found it easy to get the phone book and go to the yellow pages and let their fingers do the walking. I find the law that the time is at hand that we all would learn to go to the word and let God do the talking. Then the text above speaks of the “minister”, however in today’s world many are lost and know not the meaning to the word “minister”. For a true definition of the word “minister” please see 1 Kings 1:1-4, and Matthew 27:55.Many people think that a minister is a person who only speaks, but I do find the law that a mother who nourishes and cares for her child is a minister as well, see (Hebrews 1:14). Therefore even when we chastise or child, it would please God if we only do it through Jesus Christ who dwells in us richly.
1 Peter 4:12, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you”. A mother may often get upset when a child does a thing which the child has been told more than once, not to do. We must see these times as test of our on faith in the Word, and not see our child as a bad child. Keeping in mind of how the enemy works, knowing that this is the spirit, then we understand that the problem is not the child but the spirit of sin, see(Romans 7:18-25).
Colossians 3:17 “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” I would that all mothers quote this scripture the next time their child upsets them!
